In this post I wrote about a "client" who turned out to be an ... not very nice "client". Half a year ago a colleague found some of my illustrations in some periodical newsletter for a tenant-owners' society. I realize that not everyone knows that images on the web are copyright material. But in this case i presume that the legally responsible publisher knows about the copyright, since she's the illustrator that was commissioned for the baby products (the one who was a pro since she made sketches for free).
Pretending not to know who she was, I wrote an e-mail and explained the copyright law. A lady called me back and appologized for the misstake (!) and promised that it wouldn't happen again.
I'm keeping an eye open :)
